An die Musik.

Maria Konoshenko, the Russian born mezzo-soprano, performed in Norfolk many times, she is very well known to the audience of Trunch Concerts. Maria raised her voice against Putin’s aggression in Ukraine and at the moment lives in Norfolk. She is not only a wonderful singer, but also a professor of linguistics and in this concert she will sing her favourite Ukrainian folk songs in Ukrainian. Maria loves to perform the music of many different styles including Baroque, music of C20, Traditional slavic songs, Jazz and even Rock.

In addition to Ukrainian folk music, Maria is  going to perform some well-known songs of composers born in Kyiv and Kherson.

He will be singing contemporary songs accompanied by Teresa Williams on piano. They have been performing together for a number of years, and can often be found busking in Sheringham.
