Classical jazz favourites 

Saturday 12th May 2018, 7.30pm – with LICENSED BAR

The DixieMix Dixieland Jazz Band, one of the UK’s most engaging and successful jazz ensembles, with resounding success opened the 21st season of the relaunched concerts in Trunch.  DixieMix packed the church, with over 140 people in attendance, raising over £600 (after performer & other expenses) towards conservation & restoration of the Church building.  Our thanks to everyone who attended!
With the best jazz musicians in East Anglia, enthusiasm for traditional jazz and great humour, DixieMix band has gained national recognition, leading to a tour with Rod Stewart, TV appearances and multiple festival and theatre gigs.
The professional six piece band, led by cornetist Simon Nelson,  performed at St Botolph Church in Trunch with slick arrangements of many classical jazz favourites, all with the DixieMix twist, receiving several standing ovations from the audience:

Admition to Dixie Mix concert Trucnh on 12th May 2018 was £12 (concessions £10, under 16’s – free).
All concert proceeds were donated to St. Botolph’s Church conservation and restoration projects.
