A tale of revenge, love and forgiveness, that is sure to delight audiences of all ages. Classical language combines with live music and choral sea shanties to bring what is thought to be the bard’s final play to life.

For twelve years Prospero, the rightful duke of Milan, has dwelt on an island after his brother Antonio betrayed him and cast him adrift in a small boat. For twelve years he has plotted revenge on those who overthrew him…

THIS IS MY THEATRE is a Sussex based theatre company which was formed in 2016 from talented young actors and musicians. Their first production was Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, performed in 2016 at St Botolph’s Church (South Downs near Steyning). Due to the great popularity of the performance This is My Theatre then toured Sussex and Surrey and haven’t looked back since.
Now THIS IS MY THEATRE with great success tours all over the country and performs in historical places like medieval churches and National Trust venues. In 2020 their tours with Macbeth and A Christmas Carol received a lot of very positive reviews. In December 2020 THIS IS MY THEATRE brought A Christmas Carol  to Trunch and received a very enthusiastic reception.

The performance took place in  St. Botolph’s Church in Trunch.
The audience were seated with social distancing of 2 meters. Face Masks were worn all the time.
