Jazz Band DixieMix

Saturday 30th April 2022, 7.30pm
St. Botolph’s Church, TRUNCH

The DixieMix Dixieland Jazz Band, one of the UK’s most engaging and successful jazz ensembles, returned to TRUNCH CONCERTS on 30th April 2022, and they performed with great success as always.

There were 81 people in the audience, and the feedback was amazing: “A wonderful night’s music and entertainment that we are reliving again and again…”. “Congratulations on a very successful evening’s entertainment. For me personally it brought back many happy memories…”.

With the best jazz musicians in East Anglia, enthusiasm for traditional jazz and great humour, the DixieMix band has gained national recognition, leading to a tour with Rod Stewart, TV appearances and multiple festival and theatre gigs.

The professional six piece band, led by cornetist Simon Nelson,  also performed at St Botolph Church in 2019 with slick arrangements of many classical jazz favourites, all with the DixieMix twist, receiving several standing ovations from the audience.

The performance took  place in  St. Botolph’s Church in Trunch.

With a licensed bar.  It’s good practice to wear face masks all the time, except when you are eating or drinking.
The number of places was limited. Pre-booking only. Tickets – £15.
