Kenneth O’Neill, piano (8th August), a significant young talent who hails from Coltishall, is just completing his post-graduate piano studies at the Trinity Laban Conservatory in London. He has enjoyed success in major European piano competitions, being a finalist this year in the Alfred Kitchen and John Longmire competitions in London, and has already broadcast in Australia. Kenneth’s recital will include Beethoven’s Sonata in C minor Op 111, the pinnacle of Beethoven’s piano music, and a selection of Etudes by Chopin and Liszt.
